Deluge system – stable water fire suppression system

Deluge installations are stable automatic fire suppression water installations with open nozzles.

Deluge installations are used for protection of objects with exceptional fire hazard, where there is possibility of fast spreading of fire and where in case of fire flooding of the whole object is momentarily required (drying stations, cyclones, garages, sawmills, refinery, open field transformers etc.)

Activation methods of Deluge valves depending on protected space:

Electro activation:

Through impulse form fire warning etc.

Pneumatic activation:

Through part of the system on pipelines with sprinkler nozzles that are filled with pressurized air. In case of fire temperature is rising and it brakes thermocouple on the nozzle which causes pressure drop in pneumatic system, which activates Deluge valve station.

Hydraulic activation:

Very similar system as pneumatic but its activation system is filled with water instead of air.
