Water mist

Systems with water mist for fire extinguishing optimize used water quantity and maximize water efficiency by distribution through very small openings. This method makes a cooling effect on given amount of water thus reducing needed amount of water.

System works almost identically as classic sprinkler system. In protected area nozzles with soluble part are set. Soluble part brakes off on certain temperature for example 68°C, and releases water. Water sprays over nozzle deflector into protected area. Minimum working pressure is 5.5 bar. Nozzle protects an area in diameter of 12m². System suppresses fire locally.
